Turnt Up is a music camp for girls, young women, queer, trans and non-binary youth, ages 13 to 27, led by Berlin musicians. Over six days, you can learn to play drums, electric guitar, bass, keyboards, or sing in a band. Our time will be spent in instrument workshops, band rehearsals and workshops.

The camp takes place from Monday 15th to Saturday 20th April 2019, daily from 11am to 3.30pm, in the Landesmusikakademie, Str. zum FEZ 2, 12459 Berlin.

On the last day of camp, you can play your songs live. All experience levels are welcome! Participation is free of charge. The camp will be instructed in both English and German.

Playing in a band together is an empowering opportunity that girls are often excluded from. Turnt Up aims to make music accessible and welcoming. We will have fun, we will make friends, and we will write songs!

Accessiblity: The music academy is wheelchair accessible. We will pay for lunch and are happy to arrange for allergy free food for you or food with restricted ingredients.
